Inhuman Rights: Activists demand EU treat immigrants fairly
Activists are demanding European governments treat immigrants fairly,
after Amnesty International said the EU seems to care more about
securing their borders than people's lives. The Human rights group
claims countries have been endangering asylum seekers by turning away
African boats. But the troubles aren't over for those who do reach
Europe's shores, as RT's Tesa Arcilla reports.
Medal of Dishonour: US veterans dump awards outraged by endless wars
The U.S. military has admitted that major mistakes were made during its
wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in a report that showed flaws in training
and policy. It also highlighted a lack of understanding over the
realities faced by troops. Now, it seems the country's war veterans are
joining an increasingly-angry public, over what they see as America's
constant cycle of war. With some even ditching their honours of valour -
as Anastasia Churkina explains.

Interview with an Assassin karachi Traget Killer

In this excerpt from "The VICE Guide to Karachi," VICE cofounder Suroosh Alvi interviews an armed target killer in the backseat of a taxi.Mainstream news outlets are virtually devoid of information about the target killers of Karachi, Pakistan. This is probably because even if you manage to land an interview with one, there's always the chance you will be murdered before completing it. Those of you who have already watched The VICE Guide to Karachi know that somehow, someway, VICE co-founder Suroosh Alvi figured out a way to do it.For the rest of you, we have excised Suroosh's ominous but candid interview with one of Karachi's approximately 600 target killers so that you can whet your beak now and plan to watch the full-length version tonight at home. Their conversation took place in in the backseat of a car, the hitman wearing a motorcycle helmet and his pistol stashed in between Suroosh's feet as he confessed the bloody truth about his work and the very dismal state of affairs in his hometown.
